The Elvis sideburns are just so authentic on a Medieval beggar, aren't they? That's his son, Luke, behind him wearing the hood. The story is that Martin was a big fan of the show and showed up on the set one morning wondering if he could be an extra. The pictures above are it - no lines, maybe 20 frames or so of screen time. From the "extras" portion of the DVD set (the quality sucks, but WOW!):
